Took the ferry from Oxford to Bellevue MD on Friday, May 8th. What a delightful experience! After a minimal wait and an easy scan to pay transaction, we quickly boarded (we were the only vehicle) and were off on our roughly 10-minute ride. An absolutely perfect day to be out on the water! We passed the time reading the placards depicting the history and importance of the ferry - it has operated continuously since 1683. If I could give zero stars I would. We purchased 9:00 to 9:30 tickets and no ferry showed up. We called and the AI assistant that they have answering the phone said that the ferry would be there momentarily. Waited and Again the ferry did not show up. We are waiting on our refund now...but I was so disappointed that the ferry never showed and no one had the courtesy to call even though we had purchased tickets.
