I just received a call from Paula, the Director, in regards to a trip my mother signed up for, and she needed additional information. To say that she was rude and unkind would be an absolute understatement. She was frustrated that my mother didn’t answer her phone call, and took it out on me and talked to me like it was my fault. Parking can be a problem. I attend a book club once a month. There is only a accordian door between our group and others sitting in the caferia. Noise can get loud. It is a small center, but they have a thriving travel program. I am impressed with the ladies that manage their trips. I have heard that they are top knotch. I have signed up for two this year.
I had the absolute pleasure of working with Paula Skleres, the amazing Center Director at the Overlea-Fullerton Senior Center, during an event we hosted there a few weeks ago and she was truly phenomenal! We went to a wonderful luncheon which included some great Magical entertainment and lots of laughs from everyone. Even the NCPD were represented and served lunch.
