I have just found a 1 star review in my name for 4 years ago. I DID NOT post this one star review and don't know how it got there. Outdoor Alternative is absolutely brilliant and a great experience worthy of 5 stars I have given the rooms 5 stars, a rating based on the type of accommodation and budget it is, which is a hostel not a posh hotel. Such a great campsite, have been staying here for over a decade. A short walk to several beautiful beaches. Great for swimming, snorkelling, SUP, kayaking, and beach days with kids
I love this place - it's as simple as that. Location, vibe, people, facilities - they've been here a while and they've got it exactly right. Jacqui and her team (including Mum, Dad and Chris - who I sort of know) are doing amazing things. The evening meal served was one of if the finest I've experienced in Wales: chick pea curry with home grown salad. The breakfast baps were amazing. I love this place. Did I mention that?
Just back from a weekend staying at Outdoor Alternative: the rooms are big enough, with comfortable beds and warm showers in the en-suite; the location is just a 10m walk from the gorgeous little beach and the coast path, and the delicious food at the White Eagle is also a short walk away.
Amazing place, being coming here for 13 years. Would definitely return and recommend to everyone
