My Outback feeder survived the recent forest fire that burned through our ranch with flames 30-50ft high around it, and likely flames 3-5 ft high directly underneath it. Only had to replace the battery and motor and it keeps on working. The flames melted our trail cams so no photos of the blaze. Had the feeder for over 5 years and all the maintenance I think I need to do now is give it a few paint touchups after the flames. Their products prove that sometimes you do get what you pay for.
