My family and I came to tour a while back. And upon arrival we were greeted with hostility and witnessed a resident forcefully push another resident and slap her. The director was very short with us and gave a quick tour and hardly had answers to our questions. The care I also witnessed seemed sub par as well. Some residents were covered in food and others were just placed in front of the tv and left alone. We moved my mother in to Our House Memory Care in Janesville in January 2026 after she was previously at a “high end” memory care facility that horribly neglected her. The moment we stepped into Our House, my mother (and our entire family) immediately felt at home. Every single staff member truly goes the extra mile to make us all feel at home. I love everything that the our house in Janesville is doing ! The activities are amazing, the staff are so welcoming and friendly! You can really tell they all care about the residents a lot!
I had a very positive experience at this facility; everyone was very welcoming when you walk in. The staff were kind and very patient. What stood out the most was how the staff were doing activities and they made such a good effort to include everyone. you can tell the resident are not only cared for but they are valued.
The staff is incredible! They really show how much they care in everything they do for their residents. Truly a family.
