Recently switched to this bank, all was fine until my last name changed and I needed to update it on my account and get a new card. I had to submit my ENTIRE packet of divorce papers- okay, little weird but at least I'll get a new card- well I still haven't received an update or a new card. Have had the worst experiences with this bank. I would close all my accounts if I could. Deposited a check and they put a hold on half of it, understandable. Then I went to the store to buy some groceries just to see that an hour later they changed it and are now holding the entire thing after I had already paid some bills and shopped. Why a check needs to be on hold for an entire week is ridiculous.

I've been with OUCU for years. I prefer to bank locally. But. For a small town bank, I'm dismayed by how little the bank cares about their customers, especially their lower income patrons. The NSF fees are higher than some corporate banks. That's embarrassing, and it really makes it harder for those of us who are struggling to get out of debt. You can do better. If you don't, you will lose customers, sadly.
