In my experience, Otto Timber is easily the worst timber supplier ever, anywhere. Complete waste of time, totally disorganised, zero customer service, and genuinely disinterested. I bought and paid for 2 pieces of timber in early February. After showing me a piece of walnut on the bottom of a rack, I was then told they would need two weeks to unpack after the move before they could get to it. Nathan helped us fix a nightmare. We had a broken arm to our wooden umbrella that was unique in size and timber colour. He was able to machine something exactly the same and even helped re attach all the fittings back on so it was exactly like new. Couldn’t recommend these guys enough!
Wasted my time. I phoned first and asked if they could help with machining a few pieces of new ash timber I have and was told yes they could. The next day after a 40 min drive I was greeted with, sorry the boss said we can't do it. I contacted Nathan at Otto Timber as I needed to source a small quantity of quality Oak. I had tried other places and they either did not have what I needed or were not interested as the quantity was not huge. The service I received from Otto was second to none. Nathan took an interest in my query, sourced what I needed, allowed me to inspect it with my Carpenter and produced a finished product that was absolutely perfect.
