Excellent service! My dad has been here twice following a hospital stay/surgeries. The second time he requested to come here because he liked it so much. The nurses and all the staff care so much and will go above and beyond for their patients whenever they can. Highly highly recommend!
My dad has been in the rehab unit for the second time and just got out today. His recent stay was nothing short of fantastic. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and encouraging and you could see a visible difference in his overall demeanor and strength from the beginning of his stay to the end. I'd recommend Otterbein to anyone who finds themselves in need of their services.
My mother stayed there for two weeks after surgery on her hip. They treated her so poorly. They rarely checked on her, leaving her lying in the bed with a mess or cold because she could not cover up. They would often not even bring her fresh water. When I called with concerns they denied any wrong doing and treated her even worse after. When I would go to visit it was dirty with used napkins and food on the floor around the table hours after a meal. They sat around as if there was nothing to do. This is a truly amazing concept and design. All private suites with huge private bathrooms and 0 entry showers. The staff all care like family members and food is cooked to order in the kitchen not in a cafeteria.
What an amazing building. Not your traditional skilled nursing/rehab center!!
