Lisa was referred to me by our son's preschool. We worked with her for about a year and she completely helped transform our son! When we first started he couldn't even sit still for 1 min and by the end he was writing his name, sitting still for long periods of time and using the techniques he learned in OT at home and preschool to help regulate his body. Lisa is awesome with kids, straight forward in a very gentle way, she’s good at persuading without forcing, thus teaching/training/changing/correcting certain habits. She gave us great tools to deal with some of the challenges my wife and I have with our toddler.
Lisa was a big help with our son who needed some assistance in adapting to his new school environment. Having some difficulty adjusting to the new routines, activities, and requirements of kindergarten, Lisa was able to help him understand what environments or activities seemed to be causing him stress. He was then able learn new tools to help him cope with his new anxieties and overstimulation.
