I went in specifically for a REM scan, as it's a newer technology in our country that doctors are still learning about, despite it being a more reliable alternative to a DEXA scan. While the test is a bit expensive, I feel it's a worthwhile investment to have done once a year, especially since it doesn't use any radiation. I had an amazing first experience at OsteoStrong. Karen, the owner, gave me a full tour and made me feel completely comfortable from the start. We did a REM scan for bone density, then I got to try out several of their machines, including an electromagnetic mat, bio-charging, and finishing with a hydro massage. Great place
Very interesting concept. I have arthritis in my hands, so I thought I would try the red light therapy. I'm a natural skeptic. However, I thought I would give it a shot to see if it would reduce the pain. They take a holistic approach. The staff is very friendly and they listen to you. They walk you through the program and explain the machines. I bought 10 sessions of therapy. I will update when I'm finished, so far I'm pleased.
