I went in specifically for a REM scan, as it's a newer technology in our country that doctors are still learning about, despite it being a more reliable alternative to a DEXA scan. While the test is a bit expensive, I feel it's a worthwhile investment to have done once a year, especially since it doesn't use any radiation. I had an amazing first experience at OsteoStrong. Karen, the owner, gave me a full tour and made me feel completely comfortable from the start. We did a REM scan for bone density, then I got to try out several of their machines, including an electromagnetic mat, bio-charging, and finishing with a hydro massage.
