I started doing the Osteostrong workout at the end of October 2023. I found them when I enrolled in Medicare and got an AARP UHC Advantage plan. They were listed in the Renew program. Although their main focus is on bone density it was also said to help with muscle strengthening and balance which is what I need. I have been going to Creve Coeur OsteoStrong since it opened. It has been a great experience and it got even better when my doctor told me my Dexa scan had improved! She told me to keep doing what I’m doing, and I plan on doing just that! My T score went from -1.3 to -1.0. I have managed to stay out of osteoporosis since I’ve started OsteoStrong without taking any drugs. I take Alga-Cal plus calcium, drink bone broth and I play a lot of pickleball! I have been going to Osteostrong for the past three years. I had received a diagnosis of osteoporosis in my left hip and left femoral neck in 2020. My doctor wanted me to go on Reclast. I refused. Instead, I started going to Osteostrong. I had a second bone density scan on October 19, 2023. My numbers had improved so that my left hip is now in the normal range and left femoral neck has improved from osteoporosis to osteopenia. I’ve been going to Osteostrong for around 10 months and it has made a big difference in my life. Just in this short period of time, my strength and endurance have improved greatly. When I joined, I was basically crawling up my basement steps because my knees were in constant pain. Last month, I was able to move my daughter into her 4th floor apartment with no problems at all going up and down at least 20 times because there was no elevator! Thank you Osteostrong! I’m a life time member for sure!!

My doctor has me get a Bone Density Test every two years. My 2019 showed Osteopenia and 2021 showed Osteoporosis. I was also taking blood pressure and thyroid prescriptions. Fortunately was introduced to Osteostrong by a friend and started in January, 2023. Am very excited to report my August 2023 test results have changed directions, numbers going up and am no longer on blood pressure medication and thyroid is reduced to 1/2 tablet 3 times a week. My doctor is very happy. I'm a definite Osteostrong member for life!!!!
