My mother was referred to a hub bed here and the room was obviously not ready to accept a patient newly out of hospital. Room was unclean with medication stuffed down side of armchair and remnants of stale food. Previous patients named medication in bathroom and clothes hanging it wardrobe. The excuse was we are short on cleaning staff. You try to talk about your family member and they breach data by getting patients muddled up. Lovely friendly employees. This ia an extra care housing, residents have flats and live independently, but it also has 24 hour care, from supporting with medication to full care.

Had a relative stay temporarily at the care home while recovering from an injury and was frankly not impressed. First of all the bedroom was clearly not cleaned out from the last person, other patients medicine/belongings were scattered about the room and bathroom while the floor had also not been cleaned. Getting in contact with the care home is almost impossible, you can phone for hours and nobody will pick up. To get in you need the receptionist to press a button but unfortunately there is rarely anyone available to open ... read more
