Brought a pair of antique chairs that have been in my family for over 100 years. The seats needed to be re-caned and the chairs reglued. Oscar did a beautiful job for a fair price and got the job done earlier than expected. I truly appreciate the craftsmanship and customer service at this wonderful family run local shop!

I got an estimate for reupholstering a large ottoman in leather for $600 or so. When Oscar came to pick it up, the price had jumped to around $900, which alarmed me, but I paid a $400 deposit by check (wouldn't take a cc) anyway. Soon after that I received an invoice via email for $1500, which we cannot afford. Truly alarmed, we walked the mile to the shop and retrieved our ottoman.
