orvis really let me down. I went to their online store. I found a pair of trousers listed for $98. with no mention of " buy two pair to get the $98. price. I typed the size I wanted to buy, hit the buy button, then paid with my credit card. My credit card company sent a notice of a charge by orvis company for $145.50!! On 11/03/22 I ordered the Orvis heritage field coat. Long story short, when I received the coat I found the materials used are horribly flimsy. The only plus was the wax free canvas exterior shell. I expected much better for the price! I did a review on the Orvis web site giving only one star. On looking at all the one star ratings I found that only 5 had been posted. Orvis sent another's order to me by mistake. I re-ordered my items and received them. I returned the wrong items on Dec 22, 2021 and have been trying to get a refund ever since. 4 different customer service people have sent me emails. I have provided every date, order number, tracking number and even the contact info for the errant order. Each customer service person wants me to recount the entire story every time and provide the data they already have. I give up. I would give zero stars if I could. Multiple orders I made goes through on the screen successfully, but they somehow disappear and they don’t even have records of them. And when they do, they somehow place the 2nd shipping sticker with a wrong address, causing the item to be shipped to another house (this does not happen with any other companies). This is the last time I spend any money with Orvis.
Ordered a jacket for my fiancé for his medical school graduation with expedited shipping. Two weeks later the jacket still had not arrived. I called customer service, they said the first jacket was accidentally sent out with regular postal service. I was told they would overnight a new jacket in order to arrive on time. The second jacket came four days later. The company only partially refunded me for shipping and only offered to give me a gift card. I recently purchased a Toughchew dog bed from them and it wasn't quite tough enough for my power chewer. Orvis responded quickly and gave me a couple options (replacement or refund). I chose a refund and they promptly returned my money. Great customer service!

I received my order of the Tempur-Pedic® Deep Dish Dog Bed ( $398) and I'm very disappointed. Once we got it out of the box we noticed that the right cushion is very loose and hanging to the outside. This shouldn't happen with an almost 400$ dog bed!! The customer service answered: " I'm not able to see a problem in the pictures" and "Can you try readjusting the bolster, and you may need to remove it completely to get it fully straightened out, to see if this fixes the issue?" When the customer declined to attempt to resolve the issue by unzipping the cover and smoothing out the fill in the liner inside, we did waive the return label fee so that the customer may return the dog bed for a refund or exchange.
Horrible customer service! I returned $500 worth of merchandise with their EASY return label. They never received the return and don't have the tracking number. They say I'm SOL. I've never heard of a company that has a prepaid shipping label but no record of the tracking number. Sounds like a scam to me.
