I recently had shoulder replacement surgery and i have researched many PT facilities in the local area to accommodate my healing process. I discovered Eric McElrath at Orthopedic Spine and Sports Therapy at Crooks Rd in Troy MI. I began working with Eric 3 weeks after surgery . His knowledge, patience and professional care program has allowed me progress at a faster pace and after 4 weeks i have complete motion and pain free results. His outline of conditioning both at the facility and my homework allowed me to better unders... read more
Exceptional Care at Orthopedic Spine and Sports Therapy! After undergoing shoulder surgery, I found myself in need of specialized rehabilitation care. From my first appointment at Orthopedic Spine and Sports Therapy (Troy location), I knew I was in capable hands. Danielle and the team developed a personalized treatment plan specifically for my post-surgical shoulder. What impressed me most was their attentiveness to my specific recovery goals - they took the time to understand not just my physical limitations, but what activ... read more
Very stuck up or overconfident individual. Not going to name him/her but this is based off of my experience there. I didn't go there for treatment so I can't tell you if they're good or not-they probably are awesome when it's come to that. I went there for an interview, dressed somewhat in a respectful matter and met the individual running the show, this person had a very apparent attitude-don't know if it's intentional or not however the matter he/she conducted himself in my opinion lacked professionalism-I'm still confused... read more
I have been coming to orthopedic spine and sports therapy since 2019. For hip replacement PT. I recently chose to come back for knee replacement PT this year. Currently I am seeing therapists Eric and Bryan, and also one the techs Moe, who also works the front desk. All of the staff go above and beyond to get you back on the road to recovery. I also like the fact that this place offers the more than just PT. They have lots of other services to choose from as well as a massage therapist. The hands on care that I have received... read more
I learned some things I didn't know before, and when I started here 3.5 months post op, I felt hopeful that they could help, and they did, a little. I'm walking, and I think I'll be able to keep walking, just not comfortably. I also don't think I got any further here than I would have at a non-special PT. I just had weird things happen that took me all over the map in my half-recovery. The first visit I was hopeful, and by the last visit on tues, now 5 months post op, I think I just brought the PT down to my level of defeat.... read more
