There are more progressive Doctors out there who do not recommend surgery for everything. I started out with Dr Goltz who did a Total Knee Replacement and screwed up my knee so bad that I now have a rod in it temporarily and may have to have it fused because of damage done to my tendon and tissues by subsequent infections.
