Great company, keeps their promises. I recommend them.
Pay is inconsistent with what was promised. I've been driving here for over 2 months without being home, and I earned 21% less than the guys who studied with me in the CDL school but work for other companies and come home every second week. OROZCO promised detention pay, but I never received it. Besides that, they promise layover pay and compensation for extra stops (extra loadings/unloadings), but finally the company comes up with various excuses and tricks to avoid paying all promised money. Orozco trucking shame on you for still trying to run inward looking camera’s! I am an A rated truck driver 24 year CDL holder with ZERO ACCIDENTS over those 24 years and was looking to signing on with you guys but after being informed by two of your drivers that you guys try to enforce this even though there is a class action law suit that Illinois is last of addressing inward facing cameras.. maybe you think you benefit from it more but you don’t in the long run with first, the lawsuit that is successful. This is not an advertisement, but my personal experience. I’ve been working here for three months. I came here after spending six months in another company, and the contrast is striking. Lots of bonuses: layover (paid downtime), paid parking, there’s prepass, and they gave me last year’s truck. There are also fuel-saving bonuses and some other bonuses I haven’t figured out yet.
