I initially came for an auto loan after having a not so great experience at my bank. Meghan Pemberton is AMAZING. She was so welcoming, so friendly, so helpful. After our first visit on the day we came to inquire, my Dad and I didn’t want to leave. Once we found a car and came back two days later, she was just as terrific. Don't know what happened to ORNL. They act like a big bank and not a friendly neighborhood credit union. Totally rude customer service on the phone. Long, like really long wait times both in branch and on the phone. Tried calling them today and was trapped in a hellscape of disfunction and automated menus that never went anywhere. Their AI phone system is closer to "Almost Intelligent". The phone wait time update kept saying your estimated wait time is 30 seconds. At that time I had been waiting for over 8 minutes.
