Ormond does not meet expectations on: Bathing patients Checking in on bed bound patients Trained CNAs on providing restorative care Returning laundered clothing (that has the patient’s name written on the clothing) to the patients Answering the main phone line timely Answering the front door timely for families to deliver supplies during Covid lockdown Some of the nurses and therapist are very good and praise-worthy for their wonderful treatment of the patients.
Staff are very not attentive to the patients needs. I have seen staffers constantly on their phones, while ignoring incoming calls the facility phones. The facility needs to work on communicating better with families regarding any updates with their love ones. Staffers get nasty attitudes whenever you ask them to explain what’s going on with your love ones; definitely need to hire nurses with better people skills. Very Unprofessional Staff and Management. Night floor nurse is never available and hard to contact. No code of conduct at the facility! They are commonly known to never contact resident's families for meetings when situations arise.
My grandma only has been here for 3 days and this place is horrible. It took the nurse a hour to come and get her out her bed and put her in her wheelchair. She only gets a bath 3 days a week.Today I went visit her and they had this man that was in a wheelchair that wanted to go lay in his bed but needed a nurse and his bed wasn't even made.It took them almost 3 hrs to cone.Thank God my grandma is only in there for 20 days for rehab. Hope these days fly by so my grandma can get the hell out of here.
