The teller kept telling me I needed "documents" when I asked how I can record a judgment against a real property. When I said, what documents, they said "you need to speak to an attorney". When I asked how much the fee was he said he would need the document to determine the fee, but didn't say how those fees are determined. After asking to speak with a manager, a third person jumped in and explained that I needed 1) a cover sheet, 2) a judgment, and 3) fees–that are explained in two schedules that they gave me. They were responsive, prompt and courteous.
The building is deceptive. It didn't look like a gov't building.
Your website is awful
The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. I expected the experience to be cringe worthy (as are most things dealing with city employees) but I was pleasantly surprised. And I'm not sure if this falls under "city workers" but it was on my list along with a visit to City Hall and the Accessors Office. So there you go.
