This is the only place in Alaska that you can get arc'teryx LEAF products! They helped me out even though I was in Kodiak for a short amount of time and the item I wanted was on backorder for a few months. We waited for the jacket to come in and they shipped directly to me in another town!
So Orion's is on the expensive side of stores you will visit in Kodiak. Typically you can find gear for most of your extreme sports you'd be willing to pursue while here in Kodiak but my advice is that you check other stores or online first. With shipping, they tend to mark their gear up quite a bit. I've called requesting a few different services and items like kayaking, climbing gear, cold weather gear, and ski bindings just to be negotiated out of a sale or a service on numerous occasions.
