My three times I visited with the lawyers at the Oregon law center. 1. Our van was in dire need of repairs but we couldn't find an honest mechanic. We were stuck on the chetco when the us park service gave us a $130 ticket for overstay. Yes, we broke the law by being unable to move and unable to move anywhere anyways cuz sleeping in cars is basically illegal. Went to see them once and was rushed through the process and told to come back if I needed more help. It took over a week to get in touch the next time and then they told me there was no help available even if they told me to come in. Lady was a little rude about it too.. I don't know what her job is but if it's providing legal advice they should pull funding.
They have no lawyers. You can never get a hold of them or leave a voice-mail. They will never answer or call you back if you do call them or email them. This is a fake service...
Apparently it's by phone only? Time to update that in the description before more people get their time wasted.
Never called me back after giving advice and offering to take on the case only if it went to appeal. I got left hanging its been months and many voice-mails left and no call back. When u are in a real bind they don't have any real assistance in joco. Best suggestion is move somewhere with less corruption in the court.
