VERY short staffed. The staff are amazing but if the resident needs extra care and isn’t on the same floor as the nursing station, they charge extra! The staff have the residents best interest at heart but are not trained to deal with anything other that old age. If your parent needs memory care, are they are not equipped to help you.
I moved in to Orchard Walk several years ago. I found a beautiful suite with a large picture window overseeing a lovely garden and patio. The staff were and still are amazing although we have lost a few realty great people due to what I view as poor management. Many maintenance repairs are being postponed indefinitely and some residents are displeased the way some things changing.
My co-facilitator and I had an amazing experience in our workshop designed for Orchard walk retirement home folks! Julia was especially welcoming and very friendly, we look forward to our next visit.
I’ve had the pleasure of visiting Orchard Walk Retirement Community in Greely on several occasions, and each time I leave impressed. The staff are warm, attentive, and clearly dedicated to creating a welcoming environment for residents.
