We needed to move my late mother-in-law with Alzheimer's to somewhere more local and visited a lot of local care homes to select one. From the moment we turned up unannounced one weekend to have a look around we were instantly impressed by the staff with their knowledge; friendliness and professionalism. My mother moved into Orchard Manor View almost 3 years ago. I was initially concerned how she would get on, as she had lived alone for over 30 years and didn't like to mix with lots of people.The care home is an ideal size for her, not overwhelming, and she gets on well with many of the other residents. What an absolute Gem we found when searching for a home for our mother. After looking at and visiting many care homes, we could not believe that this care home existed as it was so different to any other we had researched. The building is all on one level, so every room either has a courtyard or garden view and access for their residents though big French doors.
