RecommendedWhat a wonderful place to have my parents. The staff is so caring. The food is amazing, all homemade by the best chef! They accommodate family visits by renting available apartments and it makes you feel so very welcome when you visit.

RecommendedMy Mother lived at Carolina Estates from 2010 until her passing in June 2019. She was an Ambassador, and very active in the community that is Carolina Estates. She was very happy and satisfied with her living arrangements there. The price is very reasonable compared to other independent living facilities in Greensboro, and the staff there is very attentive to the residents.
RecommendedI have lived here for about a month. The best thing I could have done. 3 great meals a day housekeeping most of all good friends. How can one beat that.
RecommendedMy mother-in-law moved to Ashton Gardens the first day they opened. She is as happy as I have ever seen her. It is a real "home" atmosphere, and she's made so many friends! The staff is genuine and caring. Lots of activities. Residents can maintain whatever level of independence they are comfortable with. I highly recommend Ashton Gardens!
RecommendedMy parents, Waldon & Alice Hastings were “Pioneers” the first year Somerset Lodge opened. They recognized, as we did, that this was a first class operation: beautiful apartments, good food, professional staff (Lou and Linda) gorgeous grounds, and super clean, neat servers & cleaners. The couple that followed Lou and Linda were good picks too. We look back on that time in our lives with sadness, as our mother had dementia and they had to move next door. RecommendedWe just moved in and love it. Everyone here is very friendly and likes to visit with you. We tell everyone about it. No cooking or cleaning, the food is really good also.

IMO there's no better value for a comparable facility in this area. Summit Glen is clean and well-managed by friendly, caring, considerate, well-trained staff in all areas.
