I was at first skeptical of acupuncture, but my doctor recommended it for some chronic pain I had been experiencing. I’ve gone to 4 sessions now and I feel like I’m seeing some progress. Is my pain completely gone, no, but that’s no knock at the treatment. I’ve tried PT, chiropractor, and massage therapist and they all didn’t work either. I procrastinated for a while to begin acupuncture, for a number of reason. One reason, I wasn’t sure where to go or who to trust. I did my research and found Orangetown Acupuncture. So far this is one of the best decisions I’ve made. Alex is great. He sits with you, walks you through what he is going to do, but more importantly makes sure you are comfortable and feeling ok during the treatment. The office is clean and serene. Dr. Kim is really helping me with my injured shoulders. He’s calming and very professional!
I came in with pain in my knee from training for the Philly Marathon and Alex stacked several therapies on me - needles, massage, electro stim, and red light, plus gave me exercises and massage things to do at home. Worked like a charm and got me back onto my run. Cool also cuz he runs too and knew exactly what was going on and what to do. Just wish he was closer so I could go more often. Life saver!
