OptiSource (an EssilorLuxottica company) is running a textbook bait and switch. They are actively selling Minishades inventory using the "Hide n' Seek Loss Warranty" as a primary selling point, despite the registration website being dead and the original terms being abandoned. When you contact them, they demand a $7.00 "freight" fee on top of the warranty fee. You end up paying $15 to replace a $20 pair of glasses. OptiSource took over the MiniShades children's sunglasses distribution along with the warranty support. However, they're not honoring the original warranty. They're charging an "extra" shipping fee that puts the replacement cost almost at the new pair cost. Very disappointed!
Optisource is the land of misfit toys. The President is totally absent and the most arrogant human being ever. He was cutting deli meat one day and the next he's anointed a leader. Only in America! Their Customer Experience Manager has a severe mental disorder and treats everyone with utter disrespect. She self medicates with Xanax just to make it through the day.
