I live in texas but came to visit my aunt and visit was nice workers were nice
GREAT STAFF! They are all wonderful with my dad. He was admitted in early March, and the lady who does the new patients was just amazing. She made everything so much easier on our family! They are also really good at communicating what is going on with your loved one as well. My dad has dementia, and he has good days & bad.
To be fair, there are some really AMAZING people at Optalis. MORE ON THEM BELOW.. BUT there was one particular employee who was clearly an awful person. She left residents in their own waste, left my dad without a blanket several times, soaked briefs, never clean. Walked in one day and he had an entire cup of soup dried all over his shirt. Complaints fell on deaf ears, his last week there the entire management staff left. Her name is Shannon, she is an aid or a CENA but should get out of healthcare. . Terrible company. Terrible staff. Many many state citations. I would recommend taking your loved ones elsewhere.
My mother was here for rehab for a short period and graduated from therapy. The therapy department is wonderful and we loved her nurse that was consistently present, attentive and so sweet and caring, Lexy. My mother adored her! She wasn’t keen on the food but overall a great place for your loved one to get strong enough to go home.
