I took out a small loan here roughly a year ago and paid my bill on time for about a year. When I ran into financial hardship and was unable to pay my loan for a few months, instead of just adding on the late fees, they charged off the loan to significantly damage my credit when they were aware of my situation because I was transparent with them. Couldn't believe they are charging non account holders 40 dollars to cash a check. That's the highest I ever heard of. Would never take another check from here as payment and certainly would not join there bank and give other people there checks. Bad business practice
I was so desperate wanted to get a car for my kids. I read in their website saying They help to lend money people to buy a car, but they're not honest I applied to online they they deny my application without even talking to me
Yikes! Where to begin, the lobby where as soon as you walk in theres junkies giving the place an uncomfortable uneasy vibe. Got to love a bank where the tellers sit there and text on their phones watching social media while you’re waiting to be served. To make matters worse, one of the main tellers at the North Avenue branch doesnt have a high school diploma. Somewhere you trust your money to be? The woman that works operations is always higher then a kite. Yikes!
I've been with Opportunities Credit Union for 22 years. I'm never leaving. Great Bank!!
