I bought this as a home phone alternative to getting my daughter a smart phone. Device simply does not work and their customer service is torture. They had me buying multiple phones to try and spending hours cycling the power - unwilling to admit their device/software is what doesn’t work. They seem completely unconcerned with the fact that it doesn’t actually make or receive calls. Ooma has been my phone service for nearly six years. When I began working remotely, my employer required I provide a phone for customers to contact me in my home office. I did some research and decided Ooma was the way to go. I've never regretted that decision. I get an excellent, low cost, dependable service. I've never had any issues with the service and no dropped calls, nothing. This company is a scam. I got their service and it never worked right. The only calls I could get were scam calls from India because they sold my number to them. I called and requested the service be canceled and they ignored me and kept trying to talk me out of canceling. I called back again to cancel and the same thing happened where they refused to do anything.
