Signed up for service for my business and immediately had issues with call forwarding. I worked with customer support for about an hour and they could not resolve the issue. The service was canceled within 2 hours of signing up. I inquired as to why I was still charged an activation fee and requested a refund. I was informed that activation fee is non-refundable even if their subpar service does not work the way it is supposed to. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this company.
tried ooma for 4 days...family and friends reported infinite loop routing that only hapens for some callers but is mission critical so not acceptable... after 4 days of trouble shooting with help desk that had almost 0 technical knowlege i attemped to cancel "free trial" only to find on top of a activation fee they charged me not only for my free month but for the following month as well... then they disallow cancel on website and force users to do extended cancelation survey and wait for refund.. service was bad, quality wa... read more
They seemed good on the front end. They are great if you have not questions or need for support...I thought. If there is a problem...no support. Plan on 90% up rate at best. The phone will ring, but you can't talk to your customer. Want to fix it...see above. Want to cancel...its 4-5 hours and 5+ calls. It took me 6 calls. 4 of the calls ended in excuses or worse (wrong department, too late, hung up on me). Customer service in the Phillipines told me I could not receive my "activation fee" refund even know the phone system did not work for my business. I sent the phones back within the 30 day "trial" offer. Ooma reps lied or weren't educated on the phone system features. I do not recommended this company. Do your homework before you do a Voip phone system.
Avoid, horrible cancellation policy.
