I have enjoyed my working with OTA. They make it clear that the training is long term and not a "get rich quick" scheme. My instructors have been excellent and always willing to help answer questions. Their website provides many excellent resources. I have availed myself of the videos for online classes when I have not been able to attend in real time. The programs are a little pricey, but I have availed myself of the no charge retakes. Neither my wife nor I have a trading background. Several years ago, looking for something to "fall back on" and able to work out of our home, we took the OTA plunge. You can't stick your toe in the water here. Commitment is necessary. The knowledge that is presented during the weeklong Futures course is absolutely imperative. I've been a member of the OTA community for more than 5 years. I've received tremendous support from the Baltimore office and through the home office with 24/7 on line support and instruction. There's no easy path to success - it take a lot of hard work, study and practice - and OTA has been there the whole way. Any of my investment and trading mistakes are due to my lack of following the rules and guidance provided by OTA. Of course my successes are because I am so smart! :-)

Online Trading Academy teaches a single, poorly performing retracement strategy in a vacuum for a ludicrous price. OTA provides no foundation in the basics of technical analysis, nor does it introduce any other strategies or analytics, of which there are many. Their mantra is that they know where the institutions are trading and that their strategy achieves profits on winning trades several times larger than the losses incurred on losing trades, such that it doesn't matter if the success rate is only 50%.
