The website makes it easy to find the material that I need, and make sure that we're selecting material types and configurations that are possible to source when we're designing. I often order stuff that I'm going to need in a week or so, and get a notice that it's ready for pick up at will call in a few hours or a day (sometime stuff has to ship from other locations, but I'm always amazed with how quick it is). I always appreciate the excellent service and communication from the OLM Seattle / Ballard location. The have great prices and their "storefront"/Will Call is excellent. They are a great resource to complete all kinds of projects- as an example here is a truck bed rack for securing dirt bikes. Thank you!

To avoid the cost of shipping, OLM sends you into a South Park driveway up to a speakeasy door. Did I mention the parking? Metalsupermarket never looked so good.
They used to be the best, but now that they changed their operation I don't see a reason to shop here. They're slower AND more expensive that the competition. When they were up in interbay, you could get same-day or next day orders that were priced well. Now, everything is fulfilled in Portland (after 2-3 days) and then shipped to this pick-up location (another 2-3 days). And their prices are consistently higher than the other metal suppliers in the area. Every time I price them out, they're 10-40% more expensive.
