I was prequalified for a loan, but the communication throughout the process was poor. I was told that additional documents were needed to finalize my qualification, which led to a week of constant document uploads. The sheer lack of competency of one particular staff member "Amanda" is quite astonishing especially for one who is working in a financial office. I was quoted a particular amount via credit karma that I could get for a loan, I called this establishment to insure I could get this amount only to find out I was only eligible for a much lower amount. I continued the conversation by asking what steps do I need to take in order for me to be eligible for a higher amount. She repeated that she could only give said stated amount. So... read more

I received several emails from OneMain Financial stating that I was pre approved for a loan. After contacting with them I learned that I was not pre approved for anything, I had to go through regular long process which was very misleading. Sue who was responsible for that was very rude and unprofessional. Do not do business with them , there re better places out there. Phil Cochran
