We were looking to consolidate our bills: pay of small loans with high interest as well as multiple credit cards. I looked at a few places but we settled on OMF. We had the absolute pleasure of working with Bonita. She spelled everything out to us and worked really hard on getting us our loan. She helped us even after the branch closed to ensure we finalized our loan and received funds. She was just a peach. So happy with our experience.
I’ve had a deeply disappointing experience with OneMain Financial. Their business model feels predatory, targeting customers with high-interest loans, then making it easy to extend or “renew” those loans in a way that increases the overall balance and drags out repayment terms. REMOVE THE HARD INQUIRIES! I changed my mind on applying . It was a mistake . I was text called emailed daily and on top of it the HIT MY FICO for 40+ points omg . Remove that from my 3 bureaus immediately! Never again with them . Consumer Finance Protection needs to know .
Called to get a loan on a truck and they okayed the loan until I showed up with the truck and they declined the loan because it was a Comercial truck. And I had give them the Vin and make and model of the truck multiple times before the had done this
