As someone who has worked in banking for over 5 years, I am deeply disappointed with the level of service and professionalism at OneMain Financial. Recently, I called the Bell branch to request a payoff letter, something that is a standard and simple request at any financial institution. The people in this office, don’t tell the truth and when you call them out on it they don’t want to face you. I paid my load off in full. I was told I had to wait 15 days for the cashiers check to clear. (I thought that was good as cash) So I said ok. I told them place my draft on hold. This was not done. Do not only did I pay $14k with a cashiers check but also had my draft taken out which was $650. Either case I was told to wait and a check would be mailed to me on the 25. As a person who’s dealt with customer service for over 6 years, this place has the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced in my life.
