I was disappointed to see that the gentleman I visited had not been shaved, nor do I believe had he been showered or had a sponge bath. No mouth toilet had been done, which was dry and crusty due to lack of fluids or ice to suck. I rang the call bell and waited 30 minutes, and then went in search for the nurses office. Eventually I found the office where 2 staff members were having a chat with the office door closed. I asked the girls if they could assist the gent up the bed, as he required repositioning.
