My first time trying to resell clothes ever and they turned me away because "at this location, we ask for them to be brought in a tote with a lid". I had 1/2 bag of clothes that they refused to look at because it wasn't in a tote with a lid. Nothing stating that on their website, btw (I know because I checked BEFORE I made the drive). How in the world is this a reason to turn people away? Are you trying to collect free totes? I just drove 20 mins to get there, so anything I might have made was wasted in gas money. FYI- They implemented a new policy where they only look at bins of the first 30 people of the day. This isn’t posted anywhere on their website so we drove all the way there just for them to stop us before we even walked through the door with our tub. What a waste of a drive. Will not be going back, it’s just not worth it.
All of the staff is just rude for no reason, they don’t take clothes unless in a closed lid tote which is unrealistic every time I walk in there I regret it because none of them are nice or welcoming I was in there a few days ago and just left because they were all rude and spent more time complaining about their lives behind the counter than they actually care about customers or the store. The store is very clean, well organized, and has all the sizes a child may need while growing. So why a three star? Because the store is 95% clothes. Other than a few bassinets, toys and games, it lacked things like tubs, high chairs, that sort of thing. Which we drove an hour hoping to find. I'd recommend Kid to kid for that sort of thing. But if clothes are what you need.....Once Upon A Child has it!
