I can't believe they won't accept some of the used items I brought in yet while I browsed at their items some were literally stained badly and very noticeable yet my newly used child shirts were denied for such reason. Its crazy.. And the staff is incredibly rude at this location and bandera location! Overpriced, bad atmosphere, and contradicting (saying they don't buy items that are too used yet I saw a bunch of stained shirts for sale)..
It was a horrible experience they are so picky with the clothes that they want to buy even if their brand new they buy for so cheap I hate this place all the workers are rude at both locations they don't even greet you and it's dirty. I don't recommend this place to no one ugh.
I love this store! Always go there and sell and buy stuff with what I sold! Only negative thing I would say is that they need to stay open until at least 9 on the weekends.
All the items I looked at today were too high!! I have been to several resale stores and they are very overpriced...Many items that I was interested in were OUT OF MY REACH and I could not get anyone to help me with them...so I left. Thanks for saving me some money.
This is a big store with a lot of stuff. Unfortunately most of it was not very nice. I spent about 30 minutes looking through the racks for my two kids and found only one thing that I kind of liked. The rest of the stuff was either faded, fuzzy or just looked old. The pricing seemed a little high for the quality of the product as well. I really felt like I wasted my time. I will probably try them again sometime and hope the experience is better.
By far the nicest resale shop in San Antonio! The store is always clean, employees are friendly, and the prices are awesome!!! You can tell by looking at the selection and they only choose the very best pieces of clothing because it looks impecable. A+++ Store!!!
I have been a customer there for over a year now and I have never seen or heard anyone being rude at Once Upon A Child. They are always the nicest and most helpful group of employees and always entertain my kids so I can shop. Maybe they were having a sale (when they don't accept buys) or something else happened. Not sure but I have never had a bad experience there. Awesome stuff at awesome prices. Great store! I will definitely shop there before anywhere else.
I love it and I have been going to sweet repeats and kids junction for alittle over a year and Once upon a child is by far my favorite. I have sold and bought there and although I feel I could have gotten more for what I brought in it was more than I would have normally got by donating or giving away. There store is clean and the clothes are easy to go through plus they have a good selection. this place has been open for just a short time and already they share the attitude of kids junction and sweet repeats. but unlike the ladies at the other two stores the rudeness at this one actually greets you at the door! i dont exactly know what gave them the impression that i was there to sell but the first thing out of the employees mouth was "we're not taking anything right now!" i promptly told her i was there to shop but that left a bad taste in my mouth. needless to say after looking around for less than 5 minutes an... read more
