I was here on the day this happened and it was a lie, the life guards were all over heated and just need a break, they did let their son on the slide for a good amount of time, the person that made this post was extremely rude and snobby, they wanted everything their way, yes the life guard was having a TINY bit of ice cream because it was extremely hot but they were eating NEXT to the pool. We were told it was open swim but then we were not allowed to go further than the steps with the babies and kept getting glares from the lifeguard. Very unwelcoming and awful experience.
Absolutely wonderful swim lessons – Miss Dee is the best! We’ve had such a fantastic experience with the kids’ swim lessons at the Greater Ridgecrest YMCA! From the very first day, the staff was welcoming and organized, and the facility is clean and family-friendly. But the true gem here is Miss Dee, the swim instructor. The pool slid was closed and the water temperature was listed on the board at 81. Front staff was nice but overall not a pleasant experience.
