We are regular customers and recently visited. Met Derek who is one of the nicest shopkeepers in NOLA. He was very helpful. Laura picked out a few hand painted oyster shell ornaments for friends. Derek was nice enough to share the biography of the artist. Great selection of original artwork.
OMG is one of those special New Orleans shops that feels completely authentic to the French Quarter. The candles are beautifully made, the shop has a great local feel, and the owners have clearly put a lot of care into creating something unique. It is the kind of place that makes the French Quarter feel like the French Quarter — locally owned, creative, welcoming, and full of character. Definitely worth stopping in whether you are visiting New Orleans or live here.
