Ordered a pedestal Broillmaster grill. Paid half up front waited a couple weeks they called setup installation date all good. Well when they came one of the installers had bad attitude not happy having a difficult removal of previous pedestal grill. Then install was incomplete no burner in box. No brickets, igniter was missing, no rubber piece for grip on handle missing, knobs missing. All supposedly missing out of brand new box from manufacturer. I stopped by knowing which model of fireplace I wanted to purchase and confirmed my selection after seeing it in the showroom. Shared I was on a tight construction timeline. Was assured they could accommodate. Installer stopped by to assess, said quote would be quick. Never received. Called twice to follow up. Both times was promised a quote soon. Great location and love the new management.
Let me start off by saying that I am very much pleased with the end result. That said, it took three times and two very noteworthy mistakes to get my fireplace installed. I paid a 50% depot, as is fair, In late September. 2 attempts later with a 200 ish deduction later, it was resolved. I’m pleased with the end product but I feel the commission on specifically Brad’s part could have been levied.
We cannot say enough about the team at O'Malias, especially Brad, Daryl and Kevin. They are professional and creative problem solvers. Brad was absolutely tenacious in helping us procure a unique remote control replacement kit for our gas fireplace and is an outstanding, proactive communicator. Daryl and Kevin both helped us understand options for a new glass door and grate replacement and Kevin came to the house to take precise measurements and show us finishes that would work well with our home.
