The man calling himself ‘James D Charles’ of ‘Olympia Mayfair’ has failed to return a Cartier necklace and a solid silver serving tray he took from my husband & me while posing as a jewellery valuer in October 2023. He also claimed to be a former apprentice at Cartier, thus I assume fraudulently associating himself with that prestigious company. Please avoid at all costs! The police have now removed the companies website and the owner has been arrested by police for major fraud (codename operation kettle). He took my watches and jewellery in December (valued by insurers at £500k) with promise of payment by return. No payment has been made. He has conned many others the same way. Please beware!

Handed over jewellerys in feb 2023. Up to december he was answering and so on, now nothing . Now no answering and no jewellerys ( 18000£ what we agreed on - writted in somekind sale paper also )

Avoid this scammer! Been trying to get my watches returned for the last 2.5 months with constant excuses. Police are involved as he has ripped off many people and previously been sentenced of similar offences like previous poster has mentioned. Jamie GOATLEY is his real name.
