More than 120 years ago, the Olson family began a tradition of quality funeral care. A tradition forged in respect, dignity, and compassion for those we serve. On February 1, 1888, the Olson family first moved to Rockford and Nels Olson began working as a full-time director. One of his four sons, only Fred C. Olson Sr. remained in the funeral establishment. I would highly recommend Olson Funeral & Cremation Services for the needs of your loved one. We worked with Jim Weber and he was nothing but kind, helpful and supportive throughout the process. He even knew how to make us laugh which was much needed during such a tough time. He also went out of his way to meet with us when I was in town so I could go with my mom and she didn't need to go alone. Nothing but positive things to say!
Jane made the process of pre planning arrangements so easy and comfortable for my mother. She was very knowledgeable, patient and caring. We never felt pressured or like we were being sold items or services we didn’t need. She did a wonderful job explaining options and helping my mother with a prepaid plan based on her wishes.
