You couldn't hire a stronger attorney in Kane County. He knows family law extremely well and isn't afraid to tell you your chances. He's a good guy and will fight the good fight. In trial he is strong and extremely well spoken, and his writing is pretty flawless. He won my case for me against my very entitled Ex, and he did a great job. Thanks Jim!

I retained an attorney through Marble Law and paid $2,800 to have my divorce papers filed and to be represented in court. Hired to do my divorce in 2025. My wife and I decided not to get divorced so James received payment for doing much of nothing. In 2026 our divorce was on again,reached out to James,he said he would represent me. My wife had an order of protection that she wrote up that was bogus. James said he would send me information on retainer fees and such. After several conversations with James he quit reaching back out and would not take my calls. Mr. Olita is an excellent, honest attorney, and a hammer for you when he needs to be. He doesn't play best friends with all the other attorneys in the courtroom either -- he's there for his client. I witnessed the other day 3 random local family court attorneys chit chatting out loud about how their clients were basically jokes and they each gave "silly fool" examples of how each of them runs their bills up. Jim’s a great lawyer in the Kane County area. You really can’t go wrong with him. I retained his services for some gratuitous filings my ex placed against me retaining one of the more powerful attorneys in the area and Jim was the only counsel in the area that not only didn’t flinch taking him on, but got in his head over time with the strong evidence we had and actually persuaded him to drop my ex as a client and retire…. Oh, and we won the case as well once she hired a new attorney. Money well spent.
