They really need to learn how to market this place. It has soooo much potential. Fun fact: most retail store owners don’t realize this, but just because you open the door, doesn’t mean business will come. You have to market it so people will come. And marketing cost $$$$. This place needs an investment.
EDIT: In light of the candy shop closing, I wanted to add more to this review. The candy shop that has been a part of the Shoppes for probably longer than I have been alive has had to close up shop abruptly and move to an online storefront. This longtime tenant has cited increased rents and lack of competition protections. This comes after the farmers market has allowed stands to open up with similar, or even blatantly the same products that the candy shop offered for decades. I went to twice loved boutique and it is great! The owner is the sweetest and answers all your questions. When walking in you are offered different beverages, the prices are very affordable and there are always different choices of clothes, purses and shoes. I will definitely be shopping here from now on!
There is a new shop there that resells ladies garments. Beautiful shop and they did an Easter bunny photo area. Pleasant shop and shopkeeper. Definitely worth stopping by.
