They did an extremely, extremely, EXTREMELY poor repair job on a $350 coat, essentially ruining my absolute favorite item of clothing. I had stood too close to a space heater on Christmas and burned the bottom of my adidas down coat. I brought it to this tailor with the hopes of hemming the entire coat to remove the singed part of the coat, I was told this would be “ugly” and she instead suggested we use a patch. Sue did what Macy's couldn't. I bought summer jeans type pants from Columbia at Macy's and wanted to make them slimmer. Macy's declined because they "can't do French (outside jeans) seams". Sue said, "no problem" and the result turned out very good. The pants look like they came that way from the manufacturer. Very neat establishment and professional tailor. Highly recommended.
I had to attend my boyfriend's family meeting, but I forgot to bring a dress from California. As a result, I had to buy new dresses and alternate between them. However, the person who helped me alternate my dress did a perfect job in two days and followed my requests exactly. I highly recommend this place!
horrible experience. I brought my brand new clean dress to them, and then when I picked it up, it has yellow stuff all over. And she just said that it is none of her business and she is not responsible for any of that. Moreover, she asked me pay the full amount ( BTW, they only accept cash) and reject to communicate with me. She seems very arrogant and disrespectful. I absolutely recommend this place. I came to Chicago to attend my friend's wedding. I had to alter my dress and she did an amazing job in a short period of time. I am glad that I found this place!
