About this business
History Established in 1998. It was a rainy Mother's day in 1998 when we discovered the 75 acres and abandoned farm house at the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. With the help of family, friends, and a local grape grower, we soon began working to transform the property into Old House Vineyards. Today, the formerly overgrown alfalfa fields are lush vineyards producing grapes for our award-winning wines. Excellent ability to enjoy outdoor space without any issues with social distancing. Terrific food truck options. Lots of families relaxing. Fountain in the middle of the lake providing tranquil sounds. Wonderful wines. Terrific staff. I chose this venue to spend my birthday in peace and relaxation. It was everything I could have wanted! My family and I visited from Virginia and this was the perfect winery for all events! We enjoyed the beautiful scenery, good wine, and an amazing sunset here. This was a great place to kickback and relax.
