My heart is bursting. We just pulled away from Old Agness Store and I couldn't be happier. They are sensitive to people with gluten issues without sacrificing an ounce of deliciousness. True foodies! My boyfriend exclaimed that his sandwich was the best he had, had in recent memory (and we visit our neighbourhood deli multiple days a week). The owners and staff there are kindhearted, caring people who truly want everyone to have a comfortable experience that meets their individual needs and preferences. If you are looking for vegetarian or gluten free items (or non-vegetarian items, etc.) they will help guide you. How do I even regurgitate words related to feelings and the amazing goodness of this place. Instantly got the cozy feeling I was walking in to either an old European style café or some Homesteaders amazing kitchen or a cross between them both with the whole rural Southern Oregon coast vibe . This is a made by hand delicious treats cafe combined with hand select culinary items retail outlet embellished with good people behind the counter . Just go… just go .
The staff was so incredibly friendly and welcoming. Wonderful food and atmosphere. I had the ham melt with gluten free bread and it was hands down the best I've ever had.
We were graciously and warmly welcomed in by the owners. Bought some great soup to go and a few hot sauces. The cheese we bought was really good, too. You gotta stop in and try their food.
