Beyond grateful that we have this small but mighty urgent care. The staff was very understanding, polite, and willing to go above and beyond helping my wife. They offered her a juice, explained everything, the doctor was very helpful and guided us from start to finish as to what is the issue, what might be the causes, and what the next steps will be addressing the issue in the coming days! A hospital might not be the usual place you’d expect to leave glowing feedback but I was absolutely over the moon with the care I received here! Dr. Hamoff (apologies if I’m spelling that wrong) along with Lisa, Michelle, and the rest of the team were truly outstanding. Not to brag but I’ve spent time in hospitals across several countries, including in Israel, which is often considered worldclass in many ways and this small facility in Okotoks surpassed them all.
The nursing staff, physicians, and support personnel consistently provide excellent assistance, and wait times are minimal.
Went to urgent care and it is a hit and miss with the staff. Doctors are nice, but nurses are very condescending and make you feel as if you should not have come to see a doctor in the first place. I am never coming to this centre ever again
Went here Friday night, we provided critical allergy information to the intake nurse, again at registration, then again with the nurse once in a room and this nurse came back 5 times for confirmation and further discussion.. the doctor was also given this information. The staff refused to add notes to the chart, refused to use proper resources to treat the patient and then use a different name for a medication we clearly stated on 8 occasions during this one visit that allergies were a high risk.
