I’ll never forget the day I walked through those doors with serotonin syndrome and immediately the staff jumped out of their chairs to help me get the help I desperately needed. It went from being one of the most terrifying moments of my life to knowing that I was in the hands of people that actually cared about my wellbeing. Thank you to Everyone who helped and supported me through what should have been one of the worst experiences. You are the reason I believe and trust in our healthcare system!
I went to urgent care to have a small issue dealt with and the whole experience was a pleasure. At 9 am, I didn't have to wait too long, but I could see they were definitely understaffed as a line started building soon after I arrived. Nevertheless, the people working there - from reception, to the triage, nurses and doctors are all 10/10. Thank you.
We really love this health & wellness centre. Some days the wait times are longer than others, but the staff always do their best & treat everyone with kindness. Recently we were seen by Dr. Mitchell Quinton, & he was amazing. Friendly, thorough, observant, & genuinely caring. The nurses are always kind as well, & even the secretary guard greets people with a smile, ALWAYS! A great place to have in a “small” town!
Yesterday we visited the Okotoks Emergency Hospital with my 5yr old son for a finger fracture. The wait times were incredibly long - 2.5 hours just to be called in, and then another hour+ after that. What frustrated me the most was seeing doctors outside with no one to respond to our needs or provide updates. It felt like we were left in the dark.
