Dr. Obi is a dedicated Doctor... Very Kind and we thank him for SAVING my husband's life from a BRAIN STEM STROKE... We can't THANK HIM ENOUGH.. He is a WONDERFUL MAN... GOD has shaped a WONDERFUL, CARING AND COMPASSIONATE SOUL... WE LOVE HIM.
I think he's marvelous. And yes, apparently, he is always late. The lateness is inconvenient, at best. However, I'd rather have a guy that cares than one who's shipping everyone through like cattle. I trust him and I'm not quick to trust doctors.
I went to an appointment at 1pm and it was completely empty except for the receptionist. After waiting over an hour with still not being seen and no one else walking in, i asked the receptionist how much longer. She said maybe another 30+ minutes before he GETS THERE! I was NOT told he wasn't even there.
I saw Dr. Obi for myasthenia gravis, a very rare neuromuscular disease. He was very thorough and he took his time with me, once he got to his office. His major fault: He is NEVER on time, often making me sit in his office to wait for 2-4 hours when I was his first patient of the day. He IS a very good doctor and worth the wait.
It has been the worst experience my mom and I have ever been through to hear.for five mimutes pf results ever put on anyone I have ever seen..arrived 3 pm and left at 800 pm Nobody has the right or disrespect to treat patients in that manner no what kind of king he thinks he is Needs to be investigated for failire of his duties Needless to say you can say good bye
My 83 yr old mother had a 3:30 appt and was seen at 7 pm for 15 minutes. This was her second visit. The first visit dr was late over 2 hrs too. The office staff says he was at the hospital both times. Uncalled for to have an 83 yr old get home at 8:30pm. She had to have DART come back to get her. No light outside the door and told it attracts bugs when you complain. Not sending my mom back. Good luck.
Dr. Obi cares about each patient very much. He isn't like American doctors and believes that he must take time with each patient. The clock doesn't seem to matter to him. He will go without sleep in order to spend the amount of time he thinks appropriate for each patient and family. His judgement is good, excellent, rather, and he cares where other neurologists don't. He'll call other doctors during an appointment to secure better care for you or try a new method or prescription, anything to get
The lack of communication from Dr Okonkwo-Onuigbo in the care of mother makes me question his compassion and professionalism.
He is very smart. I trust him with my life. He went over scans that another neuro misdiagnosed and caught it right away even based off my symptoms. He takes his time with every patient so sometimes the wait is long but hrs very great at what he does.
